Marinela — Restaurant in Albufeira

Nice place, decent food. Turn around time for food is very quick. The only reason for a 4 star as I visited this place around 4 times with my daughter and there is an old lady who sits behind the counter whose energy was ALWAYS off when we went there. She never smiles and has 0 customer service. It’s a shame as all the other staff made us feel welcome and they were very attentive. The only reason why I kept on going back was because my daughter liked the crepes. The lady may be the owner of the place as she was always sitting down or taking payments but I do feel her staff could help her with her customer service since we are the ones bringing business to the cafe. Very average, except the pricing.

Ate there last night after a days traveling so we were just glad to get to an eating house of any type.

3 X pizzas and a couple of portion of chips ordered, for the kids and the wife.

I got a "zinger" burger - which from memory was €5.70. this consisted of a half chicken fillet which was butterflied, dipped in breadcrumbs/spice mix. One lettuce leaf and a slice of cheese. Completely underwhelming, tasteless and over priced.

The pizzas looked and tasted ok, bit pricy at 8€ though.

Whole meal came to €45,

Very pricy for what it was, it was our first night in albufeira in 5 years, so a rookie mistake, but one we won't...

Food was terrible. Overcooked pizza. I ordered the Fruito Do Mare pizza which had dry tasteless tinned tuna and tasteless shrimp which were obviously previously frozen

Waiter had a bad attitude. When I asked for another drink it took a long time and was slammed down on the table in front me

My partners pizza was just as bad and she left more than half of it

Seen other people coming in and their food was served much quicker than ours so I’m guessing they were maybe locals

Will not be returning to this restaurant…..EVER
