Looking for a date night option in Albufeira that catered to both an omnivorous and a vegan diet had proved difficult. I stumbled upon Senhor Frog's on Google Maps and the reviews looked promising, so we tried it out. I still can't get over how friendly, charming, and charismatic the staff were. We both had pizza, and it was very good! There were more vegan options than I had seen online, which was great! Their garlic bread was vegan, they had a vegan cheese option for your pizza, and they had vegan ice cream. Tucked a bit back on the main strip of New Town, we were able to watch the sun set and all of the bar lights turn on while still being able to have a conversation as the clubs came alive with music and laughter. The prices were a bit high compared to the rest of the places we had been to, (more akin to canadian prices, actually) but the romantic yet exciting atmosphere in New Town and the wonderful service made it worth every euro.

Second time here. I've traveled a lot and this is by far the best pizza I have ever had. Its deep dish but not heavy, the cheese is wonderful, thick and full of flavor and not greasy. The topping? I had chicken, hot peppers, onions and feta cheese. It's real shreaded chicken, the onions were perfect. Hot peppers added a nice bit of heat and the feta cheese was Devine and not salty. Well worth the flight to Portugal for some pizza. Comes with hot chilli oil on the side with parmesan and oregano. I highly recommend senhor frogs. So I'm.back again in May 2023. I literally came to Portugal for the pizza...and the people but this pizza....delicious. ate here twice with the girlfriend and was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and fast. The pizza? I flew 4800km for the pizza...yeah its that good. Try anything and everything here , you will not be disappointed.

First of all when there's no one trying to coach you in to the restaurant and plenty of customers are already in there then that's a good sign, from walking up the steps the atmosphere was relaxing unlike the surroundings on the strip. The service was excellent with very helpful and friendly staff that was very polite. The food and drinks was excellent and the Greek salad complements the pizza that had a excellent crusty base that made the pizza one of the best I have ever had. Please do not underestimate this small restaurant as it's a gem and I can say that before we leave we are visiting here again as I don't want to miss out on the service and fine fresh food that's been served here.

I normally like to try different foods in countries so I always ruled out this place, until I tasted one of their taster pizzas from an employee on the street in The Strip. There is no words to describe how nice the taster was and it made us want to go in. I was not disappointed, despite it ‘just being pizza’, it was the tastiest pizza ever. Hoping to try one of their Calzone’s next time. 10” pizza was quite small but very filling. It’s a shame that filled crust isn’t an option either (not that I could see anyway) The staff are INCREDIBLY friendly! Loved the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Honestly recommend this place.

This was the worst experienve I had so far regarding food in Portugal . The pan pizza was good, but by far not worth 16.9 for this size and quality. It is not organic as far as we were informed. For 12.95 we received a plate of overcooked and undersalted pasta arrabiate. Horrible. We thought:" alright, let's give it one last try" and here we had a burnt apple pie. We left it untouched, bottom up so it was obvious it was burnt. The service personal did not even react to it. If you think about eating here, think good if that pan pizza is worth your money.Otherwise just turn around and run forest run!! Huge disappointment

The food was excellent. A large pizza was more than enough to fill a big stomach. It tasted very nice and there was a large menu to choose from. The service was more than perfect. The waiters were very kind and very speedy. One of our friends was a bit nauseous and the waiter offered us to give a box and take it home with us. They also gave us free water, free garlic bread and a free drink for our gluten-intolerant friend. Long story short: loved this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably cheap place to eat. Everything was perfect and completely worth visiting.
