I had a hankering for a burger on a walk from the town last night and popped into Zé Zé's by chance and man was I delighted. The burger was marvellous, Angus beef which was flavoured and cooked to perfection with proper homemade hand cut chips that were exactly like my Mam made when I was a wain. Wholesome and hearty meal. The young man serving me was polite and attentive..went out of his way to show a match I thought I wanted to see. Turns out it was soccer and not rugby as I hoped. But he made a proper effort, fair play. The owner seems like a lovely lady it's great to see someone move their life to a new country and start up a business which seems to do well. I had a bacon cheese burger with homemade chips it was perfect it was juicy and very tasty. We've booked on Friday for beer battered fish homemade and chip and mushy peas. On Sunday the do a Sunday roast with homemade Yorkshire pudding. A full English and you can get black pudding too. I am an ex head chef I cannot recommend Ze Ze Bistro and Bar high enough.
