A tapada — Restaurant in Almada

We took a chance and tried to go to another restaurant at the bottom of the mountain, it was booked 1 month in advance, so we then walked back up the mountain and through a trafitional neighbourhood where we came across A Tapada Almada.

We were greeted and served by the warm, friendly restaurant family owners, food was incredible and authentic, with a lovely atmosphere outside on the cobbled street looking at the clock tower.

I went to A Tapada with my mother and we both just loved it. You are greeted warmly and served promptly. The owner is extremely attentive and kind, and took us through some menu items to help us pick what to eat. The food was stellar, we had veal and gambas, which was tender and had a bunch of flavour, not to mention the desert, which was something out of this world. I will ensure to come back frequently...
