Meating Steakhouse — Restaurant in Almada

The BEST grillrestaurant I've ever been to. What a surprise this was. The starters were awesome. Our main course, fillet and rump skirt steak were off the chart! The memory alone makes my mouth water even now, 3 hours later.

And for the dessert I had the cheesecake. Holy ....! That was epic. Best cheesecake ever. My wife had the carrotcake. She couldn't stop smiling. It was delicious.

Also the service was really great and they were so kind. And in terms of hygiëne, this place delivers. They clean every table and seat thouroughly. The kitchen staff wear gloves and you can watch the entire cooking process. The entire place was very clean and I noticed they pay a lot of attention to details to make sure the customers are satisfied.

I want to give my compliments to all the straff that made this experience truly amazing.

Good service, clean restaurant, but low food quality

Order the T-bone steak but the quality of meat is surprisingly low, specifically -very difficult to cut; it took myself and my wife a long time to cut each pieces of the meat -super difficult to chew with many uneatable parts of the meat that had to be spit out -visible discolored of meat in the raw section (e.g. some parts are darker red while others are fresh red) -overall only about 60% of the meat was chewable

Also ordered the beef tartare and was underwhelming as well -the sauce was beyond salty to a point where it is hard to swallow, perhaps the soy sauce mixing that day was off -eat bite had to be combined with 2 slices of bread at least

Overall very disappointed for the quality of the meat at the price point. My worst meal in Lisbon unfortunately and perhaps worst steak I’ve...

We were in the area watching the sunset and were looking for a place to eat. Inspired by Dennis H's EPIC review we decided to give this place a try. Staff was friendly and efficient and the food was really good. We had two burgers and both of us liked them very much. I always struggle to have the meat in my burger cooked how I like it (rare) and they did it perfectly. The fries we got were fresh and tasty and the mayo sauces were also really good. For dessert with had the chocolate mousse and the carrot cake with brigadeiro and both were delicious (I can see why Dennis' wife kept smiling while eating it!). And they had a big bottle of sparkling water available which you don't see very often and is quite convenient and affordable. Overall a really good experience, good food, good people, good price....
