Me and my partner stumbled across Haru visiting Costa da Caparica from Lisbon, and we were gobsmacked at how fantastic this hidden restaurant is. We said it is one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in years (including in London as well). The ramen is the best I've ever had (from taste to presentation and swiftness it was served); the decor is so beautiful - some wooden floor dining table seating areas - it felt really authentically Japanese, like you've been transported across the world; the staff are so lovely, chatty and warm. Also we were surprised to see a little robot waiter coming to serve us our dishes. What an incredible dining experience! Also a beautiful beach view with the rolling waves outside of the window. Will come back to Costa da Caparica just to come back to eat at Haru! We said they need better signs outside as it's so hidden away and most people probably walk...
Read moreWe were lucky to choose this place to have a dinner when we were very hungry (unfortunately because I was so hungry I didn’t take photos of all dishes 😅 but trust me all of them were delicious 😋). The bill was about 75 euro. But it was absolutely worth it. Also, I saw in the menu an unagi (eel) udon and from my experience eel dishes are very rare in Portugal. Oh, and a very quick and friendly service as well. Highly recommend and will be back for the...
Read moreA beautiful restaurant that you can easily miss while walking on the street but this place blew me away. Such a gorgeous interior on the 1st floor above another sushi type restaurant and service was outstanding. 3 of us had ramen and one person (picky eater) tried some for the first ever time and liked it so much he ordered a bowl too. Sushi was fresh and very tasty, wasabi fiery like it should be and mojitos were very good and so refreshing.
The chopsticks were so aesthetically pleasing I wanted to buy a set. They had a robot brining food to our table which made us laugh and the view of the beach while eating this great food just heightened the enjoyment. Prices were similar to that in London but we loved the experience and can’t wait to come...
