I walked in here like the average American idiot. I barely said hola when they had me seated with an English menu.

Alone and surrounded by yellow and pink smiley faces was just the beginning.

I ordered a fruit bowl and the toast from hell. Both were very good and quite different.

The fruit smoothie bowl is what my body wanted. The goji berries added the perfect amount of chewiness to eat banana and strawberry bite.

The toast from hell is what my eyes wanted. I keep trying to wrap my head around this one. It’s pulled chicken, pepperoni, perfectly layered egg, in a crunchy panini pressed thin bread. All I can say is PLEASE visit this place if you’re in the area. We wanted a nice cool place to grab a drink and some light food before we went to the beach and this place blew me away. It was a little tricky to find but the door is on the front and then you go upstairs to the bar/seating area. The staff were super friendly and inviting and couldn’t do enough for us. We had orange juice, a beer, a latte and I had the Joy Toast and my partner had the Chicken Bruschetta and let me tell you, this was some of the best food and drink we had while visiting Portugal. Nice atmospher and, location.

Service was quick and the waiter was nice. The owner (i think) was very enthusiastic and told us about their own beer and the brewery's collaboration with local artists.

Good fruit juice, very refreshing. The mango dressing was a bit on the sweet side, a bit more acidity would pair nice.

The tuna toast was plenty of food for a lunch. It had some pickled vegetables in it that cut the cheese very nicely.

A decent selection of beer from a local brewery along side the usual big international brands.

Though the local beers suffered from a bit of fermentation problems the effort is nice.
