The food used to be very good, but on our last visit the steaks were so tough and full of sinew that neither children nor adults were able to eat them. When we raised the issue about the poor quality of the meat, no alternative was offered for the children. As a result, we had to go home to prepare a meal for everyone, yet we were still charged the full amount. More like 3.5 stars... The carapauzinhos fritos were delicious (and even the 1/2 portion is huge), the place is nice and a little off the main tourist drag. The waiter was nice, but oddly claimed he thought I'd only want my vinho verde with the main meal, not with the usual starters that they serve unasked. Dessert was so awfully dry and taste free that I left it uneaten. The galão I ordered to rinse it down tasted at best of milk, but...

Terrible service. The waiter was terribly rude for the entire dinner and even tried to pick an argument wit us at the end. Really insulting. We waited forever for our dishes when other table that arrived after us was already being served and the waiter was rude and vulgar when we asked if it was going to take much longer. Never gave been served by anyone as vulgar as this person. To avoid for sure. The food was nothing...
