Sabores do Tejo — Restaurant in Almada

My family and I decided to have lunch yesterday , I'd like to start by saying that the service was awful, waiters do not acknowledge customers, and once they do it take forever to be attended. My son and I had garlic shrimp and my wife a fish platter, we also had a cup of green wine. We made or way out of there in a brief timely manner. We then c ame straight to the hotel from the restaurant, my son started to have stomach cramps and shortly after diarrhea and starting to throw up effusivelly, followed by my wife and I, the three of us had been "FOOD POISED", . My only interest in this post is to let people aware of the poor quality of the food and the unpproper handling of the food that you will all eat at this place. Although this place does not represent the culinary tradition of Lisbon, it is sad to find such a poor handled restaurant like this, posing a health issue to anyone...

Good place for a quick lunch or coffee after getting off the ferry. Don't expect smiles but efficient staff and good value. Not sure why all the tourists in the reviews are complaining about the staff not speaking English... you are in Portugal you cannot expect everyone to speak your language.
