Cafetaria Nórdico Coffee Shop • Specialty Coffee — Restaurant in Braga

We found this gem doing a Google search for "coffee roasters" as we were looking for a craft/specialty coffee shop. WOW, we are thrilled. Stopped by late morning (no food) for a cup of coffee. Excellent! I had the V60 pour over and the husband had an espresso. He was happy, his was smooth and not bitter, served at a perfect temp.

Mine was slightly fruity and smooth. Took the recommendations of the owners for which country (where the beans are sourced) and roaster (they rep several different ones). Did not disappoint.

Plus, the place is very well decorated, creating a relaxing, welcoming vibe. The back patio area is great!

And the owners are a fantastic young couple. As it wasn't too busy when we stopped by, had a lovely chat with them.

Highly recommend you stop by and try out their different coffees. We are headed...

A cute little brunch spot in Braga!

What I noticed the most is the cozy atmosphere. The concept and vibe reminded me more of hip coffee shops in Bali, slightly different experience to typical Portuguese cafes.

I was pleasantly surprised to find matcha latte in Braga too. Thought that matcha latte might not be very common in Europe 🙈

I also liked my pancakes. It was very yummy and wholesome. I'll definitely pay another visit and try their yogurt bowl...

It is true what they advertise on the board outside, they really do prepare damn good coffee here. We live in Portugal and it is so so hard to find places where they prepare good cappuccino. But in Nordico they really really have amazing coffee. Breakfasts are also amazing. Pancakes were on point, fluffy and tasty. The banana bread was to die for.
