I join everyone who praises the bacalhau á Braga! I came 3 or 4 times during my stay in Braga and ordered the same thing every time, which is unusual for me as I like trying new things. The fish and the simple flavorful sides were just too good to try anything else on the menu. The owner is a very kind and welcoming gentleman and somehow creates such a homey atmosphere, feels like I come to eat at his house and not in a restaurant in a historical city center. A little place serving acceptable freshly prepared and tasty food for more than fair prices. You can get Bacalhau a moda de Braga (cod fish local style) for a half of the price than in Porto. Food was ok, service was bad, waitresses are sitting in chairs watching tiktok/facebook on phones, they took 15minutes to bring our drinks after ordering and we had to go to the cashier desk to order any refills or dessert.
