Great service, amazing food(portion’s big too)! They bring the appetizers to your table which was quite fun and reminds me of traditional Dim Sum lol we had mussels salad and melon with local ham for starter, the veggies on mussels are so crunchy and flavourful!!! And the ham is aromatic and silken! Being living in Italy for 3 years, I found Portuguese ham slightly better ( to my taste) than the Italian ones! Definitely a must try!

For main we had the traditional Portuguese steak and fried cod. The cod itself is almost like a 2-person dish, my partner was full after half of the fish consumed.

For dessert I know they are known for the Apple strudel, but I had chocolate mouse, which was a pleasant surprise, it’s a savoury sweet flavour dessert, so so creamy and intense.

Services was great and the place is beautiful! Whoever did the interiors deserve a pat on the shoulder!

We came in a Thursday with no reservation, but I can see this place to be fully booked for dinner. Overall we are super happy with the meal, two dollar signs is also an accurate description.

Thank you for the amazing lunch! Will definitely recommend to anybody...

Firstly I would like to start by saying that Milagrosa was a great waitress. Very polite and attentive. She deserves to hear that because the American people in the table next to us were being very rude to her because they felt very entitled (like “oh we cannot continue this if you don’t speak English”). Some British ladies left without saying a word after realizing that she did not speak English! Management, please provide a little paper saying that you waiters can help them if the costumers (SIMPLY) use Google Translate to communicate with them, all will be fine. The Bacalhau à Braga was cooked to perfection. The 4-stars is only because the fried octopus with Apple pure dish was strange. Something was missing to help making...

Agree with reviews that say this place is overrated, especially because the food, for the price, is nothing special. The service is super-prompt (so prompt that it doesn't feel Portuguese-dining-relaxed), but the food certainty didn't wow and I could get equivalently "good" and equivalently not-memorable food for 1/3 (or less!) what I paid today elsewhere. The shrimp were mushy in parts and the pile of boiled cabbage was uninspired to say the least. The cod was fine, but again I've had equally good fish elsewhere at a fraction of the price. It's also a MASSIVE restaurant - I thought I was dining at a cute, small place -...

Made an impromptu visit to this resto based on reviews and ratings. When we went for lucky they had only opened so we didn't have to wait long to get a seat. Loved the food. We ordered veal, chicken breast, pork chop with Apple sauce and chestnuts (the best combination is if you can combine the veal and apple sauce!). We also ordered the monkfish with rice, which was a winner. When we came we were welcomed with muscatel and 7up, very tasty. Overall a good experience and awesome service. Will definitely come back if we're around! We bought a few bottles of muscatel to bring home as it was less than 8 euro for a bottle...
