We stumbled into this restaurant on the way to another and decided to stay for their bacalhau and octopus. We were pleasantly surprised, Their octopus was much better that what we had the night before at a 3-Michelin star restaurant. Also, the bacalhau was very tasty and not overly salty like at other restaurants.
They have a small, but focused menu and what we had was especially good so the impression is that they also give the other items similar attention. We plan to go back to taste it all.
We spent some time talking to the very friendly owners and staff and learned that the chef was previously working at the aforementioned 3-Michelin star restaurant and it certainly tasted that way.
