We've had a brunch and a dinner here. The food here is pretty good and the staff is amazing. Enough English is spoken to get dietary issues understood and to even joke around with some of the staff.

I had an Old Fashioned here which was darn good. Just finding one, made properly, is a win in Braga as far as I'm concerned. The hot chocolate and meia de leite are both worthy.

Their polenta sticks are crisp on the outside and creamy inside. Very well executed. The vegan sriracha aioli that accompanied it will leave you craving more. We've had this on each visit.

I enjoyed Antù's take on the francesinha. Steak, spicy sausages and ham between bread, smothered in cheese and gravy. It comes with fries and if you like poutine like I do, you know they all went through the gravy. Very hearty and a good appetite will be needed to knock it all back. My better half enjoyed the steak and vegetables and cleared her plate.

On a previous visit for brunch I devoured what's basically an egg sandwich with bacon and more goodies. It's called the Caco breaky and I recommend it. Our bill for two was around €32.

If you are in the area we think it is worth...

This was our second visit to Antu. We had been waiting for the street construction to be completed, so we could try the breakfast menu.

We ended up eating by the window and the second floor and could people watch.

We had the Eggs Your Way (6€), Scrambled, with focaccia and a side salad. I added the smashed Avocado for 2€. He had his eye on the Caco Breaky after our month on Madeira and he fell in love with the Bolo de Caco.

They were both tasty, although his sandwich seemed a little lacking. Very light on the caramelized onions. See the photos.

When he went to pay, we were charged an extra euro for my scrambled eggs, which wasn't listed on the menu. Why would scrambled eggs cost more than fried?!?

Luckily, our first visit was much better or there wouldn't have been a second visit.

We had a very charming waiter and he recommended the white sangria. While my husband enjoyed a beer on a hot summer afternoon.

We shared the fried cauliflower and the chicken bowl also both on his recommendations. They were fantastic and the experience was wonderful.

Between the two visits, I'd...

🌟 A Hidden Gem! 🍽️✨

I recently stumbled upon this charming little restaurant, and I must say, it's an Instagrammer's dream come true! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a cozy, artistic ambiance that's practically begging for your camera. The decor, with its funky charm and unique details, provides the perfect backdrop for those enviable foodie photos.

Now, onto the star of the show – the food! This place doesn't just rely on its aesthetics; it delivers on taste too. Each dish I tried was a delightful journey for the taste buds. From the perfectly seasoned appetizers, fried cauliflowers to the mouthwatering tapas and main courses, every bite was a revelation. They're a work of art.

The service was warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. It's clear that the staff takes pride in what they do, and it reflects in the quality of the dining experience.

So, whether you're an Instagram enthusiast or simply a lover of good food and cozy ambiances, this place is a must-visit. You won't be disappointed! 📸🍴✨ #FoodieFinds #HiddenGem...
