LP Heritage Apartments — Hotel in Braga

The LP Heritage 3.04 Nobre accommodation had everything to be the dream vacation spot: an excellent location next to the Braga Cathedral in the heart of the historic city center, located in an old building refurbished with evident good taste, an impeccable room and bathroom, just as it appears in the photos, and it is very well equipped and decorated. The climate control system is modern and quiet, the bedding is very comfy, and the kitchen has enough utensils to prepare light meals if necessary (although there are many good and reasonably priced restaurants around). The reception and information provided by the LP Heritage staff were professional and very friendly, resolving doubts and providing all kinds of required information. However, I can only give three stars to my review because what is not mentioned in the advertisement is that the terrace of a disco-bar is located less than 20 m away from the window of this room. On weekdays, the volume of the music was moderate, and it was enough to close the balcony door to get a good attenuation level, but on the night from Saturday to Sunday, the music volume on this terrace was unbearable, and it remained like that until well past 4:00 am. We had to get up early on Sunday for a long drive back home, and as you may guess, it was a miserable experience and rather unsafe, since we could barely sleep that night. It is a shame that such a relevant fact is not mentioned in the advertising of this accommodation, as it is an important issue that should be resolved, and if that is not possible, at least communicated to potential customers thinking of choosing this room.

The presence of a terrace from a disco-bar less than 20 meters from the facade of the room is a fact that should be clearly communicated to potential customers who are considering choosing this room. So we booked two rooms, one for a couple (that room was fine).

The second room was absurd. We booked it for 3 adults. My wife, my adult son and myself.

No wall or door to bath tub or restroom. No place to change clothes.

In the toilet that had a glazed glass swing door, the floor was sticky and had long black hairs on the floor as well.

So I went thru the process on bookings.com to communicate with the property owners and received some of the rudest "customer service" responses I have ever imagined. They said we chose the room. I dare anyone to go to the pics and get the idea from the pics there is no privacy.

Then about the sticky hair laden room, they said they checked some app they use to communicate with the cleaning service and outright said they did not believe me...tho I sent them a picture.

I must have communicated 10 times to no resolution.

Other than the dirty floor, it could have been easily booked as a honeymoon suite...BUT NEVER...

Ho soggiornato 4 notti e sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. La struttura è moderna, ben progettata, e offre quel mix perfetto tra comfort e stile contemporaneo. Si trova in pieno centro, quindi sei a due passi da negozi, ristoranti, punti d’interesse, la posizione è imbattibile.

Nonostante l’ubicazione centrale, l’appartamento è sorprendentemente silenzioso: non senti rumori molesti, il che rende il soggiorno rilassante. La presenza di una lavanderia in comune è un plus molto pratico, soprattutto per un soggiorno di qualche giorno.

L’architettura e il design interno sono curati: ambienti luminosi, finiture moderne e dettagli eleganti. Ogni angolo trasmette cura e attenzione al comfort. Quando arrivi, senti subito che sei in un posto “pensato bene”.

In sintesi: tutto funziona, nulla da eccepire, è uno di quei posti che desideri trovare durante i tuoi viaggi e ci tornerei volentieri.
