This is a regular eating place for me but today I was not impressed with the Octopus rice. The rice was very broken qnd mushy and the Octopus consisted of mainly cut up pieces of heads and the tentacles were thin ends which most all their suckers. Lovely restaurant serving mainly Portuguese food. The food is of a high standard as well as the service. The owner and his family were so friendly and very accommodating considering we couldn’t speak much Portuguese. We visited twice on our visit to Caldas da Rainha and look forward to...

Espaço acolhedor e pouco barulhento. O serviço é feito por profissionais atenciosos. Escolhi polvo à lagareiro e estava no ponto, muito bom! Servido com legumes muito bem cozinhados e batata assada de boa qualidade. Estava tudo muito bem temperado! Acompanhei com um copo de vinho branco maduro da casa (não especifiquei). Finalizei com uma sobremesa de oreo (felizmente não muito doce) e um café. Perfeito... Sem querer acrescentar algo negativo dada a experiência gastronómica de qualidade, faço apenas a observação sobre os covers jazzísticos de má qualidade, de baladas dos anos 80/90, que são completamente dispensáveis no espaço. Qualquer outra playlist básica de originais do jazz seria melhor! :)
