They have Ramen and Curry! But if that's what you are going to eat make sure to phone it in and tell them, as it is not on the menu in the restaurant!

We didn't know this (as we read the menu on Facebook) and 10 people showed up wanting ramen total between us and another group. Despite clearly catching them off guard, the staff behaved amazingly! I am thoroughly impressed with their performance and adaptability in order to make sure we could still have the dish we came for! The chef did an amazing job under such pressure and limitations of ingredients since it was so many people!

The waitress was so friendly and really created a homely experience. I really appreciate her putting Japanese music on for us (since we were the only ones at the restaurant). That was so sweet!

I and my friends will definitely be coming back within the next few months to try their curry! I'll make sure to phone beforehand with our order this time!

The food here is: DIVINE! We love true traditional Japanese food and this place is a little hidden gem. We ended up eating here a little by chance but this place really took us by surprise and I am sure we will visit more often from now on. Chef Jose is very talented and the food authentic and made with fresh, quality produce. Some reviewers complain about the time it takes to serve. Yes it takes time but I think they fail to appreciate the art of sushi and the Chef behind the counter crafting each plate. It’s a one man’s job and a privilege! Really glad we made the journey to Yasuke 😋 there's a wide range of food available, beyond just sushi and sashimi. I had pre ordered pork ramen, my fella had breaded chicken and rice. Having been spoilt for choice we even ordered sushi and teriyaki chicken to take away! The service was super friendly and we learnt that the chef was properly trained in Japan and prepares all orders freshly from scratch. Was really excellent and we will be back again.
