A horrible experience. The staff took 20 mins to bring a coffee and served other people faster who ordered after me. When I questioned that he waiter said nothing and showed absolutely no care to bother to reply about the extremely low service. I asked for the complaint book and they just hid inside and were not bringing it to me until I started calling the police. Then some rude waiter came to me and started threatening me calling me a foreigner. I was the only woman in the place and nobody did nothing. Then he came to me and threw the complaint book on the table… I was about to call the police when the owner came and finally started apologizing. I said that I just wanted to have coffee after lunch and he offered me this coffee… I left with a very bad aftertaste. I wonder how this racist place...

It's one of the oldest restaurants that I used to go. It's been 2years since my last visit, but I the food was still the same quality and experience. The Portuguese Seafood Rice is something extraordinary. Amazing taste and good portions of shrimp and lobster.

Sra. Maria is an amazing cooker that takes Confort Portuguese cousin to another level.

With all this, good portions dishes and wine we end up paying less than 20€ per person. The seafood rice is ok for 3 people.

Pedi choco frito e perguntei se podia ser acompanhado por arroz em vez de batata e se podia trazer salada também. O empregado que nos atendeu disse-me que ia ver com a cozinha mas em princípio só podia vir com um acompanhamento. De repente, pareceu a decisão mais impactante do dia para aquele negócio.. incluir um pouco de arroz e um pouco de salada num prato, mas ok, pedi então com salada. Quando os pratos foram servidos e conforme previsto, veio apenas a salada. Curiosamente, os pratos das pessoas que estavam comigo, bifes não sei do quê, vinham carregados de batatas e de salada. Tanta, que maior parte não foi comida. As doses são efetivamente grandes, o que não há necessidade.. não se coaduna com o tipo de refeição que alguém procura para um almoço a meio da semana. É desperdício e que acaba por se refletir no preço, pois não é barato. Por um lado não se quis anuir a um pedido de um cliente que tinha pouco impacto económico, por outro serve-se em exagero aquilo que não foi pedido só porque sim. Fica a nota para reflexão. O empregado foi sempre bem educado e isso não está em causa, mas fica a falta de jeito dele ou do negócio ou a falta de coerência, que de repente não tem...
