Bar Moinho — Restaurant in Cascais

This place has a very nice and pleasant view of the beach, with the fort in the horizon and the sea. The food is normal for a beach bar but somethings made me give them 2 stars: Service: they are very neutral and without any smiles or nice words. Effective and working but not kind; Card payments: it is a touristic place and they don't accept foreign cards. This is such a big problem for people that live abroad and want to make card payments. Please change this! Hamburgers: the meat is regular to poor and the bread is not nice (it's like the crappy one you buy in the supermarket). For the price they charge should be way better! NO word: everywhere is the NO word - we don't serve at the bar, you can't book tables, you can't make card payments for less than 5€, you can not change the ingredients in juices (if you replace any, you pay an extra of 1€). Change the NO word to YES and people will be way more pleased of going...

I am writing in English for more people to be able to read. This bar doesn't deserve even 1 star. First of all we were waiting almost one hour outside on the sun with the baby on my arms and they didn't give us any priority that we are with a baby (this priority we have by Portuguese law!), when was our turn to seat came one rude woman and wanted to send us to the last ones on the line. Only because people after us confirmed that we were there she let us to enter. Then we waited again more than hour for the food. One wrap and burger that could be prepared in max 15 min. Wrap was very dry and with not washed salad. There were served on broken plates. When I told about this fact to the waitress she told me she doesn't care. Not recommend this...

Terrible, horrible, disgraceful service. If you have 2 hours of your day to kill, come here to eat because you'll wait an hour for a couple salads and some goes potatoes. The servers are rude, aloof and the one guy tried to argue that I had "only been waiting 50 minutes!" When we had really been waiting over an hour for food, including appetizers! In response, I said "okay, let's pretend I've waited 50 minutes. Should I be waiting 50 minutes for two octopus salads, some ribs and rare tuna???" He had nothing to say, just walked off shaking his head. TERRIBLE AWFUL SERVICE, RUDE, SLOW and for mediocre cafeteria...
