Burguesia Food Experience — Restaurant in Chaves

We waited for an hour in a dining area with multiple screaming children, for a burger & salad with chicken. Then we were told they were out of chicken. So we left without eating.

In response to the owners response: Our order may have been taken at 1:45 but we waited a long time for our order to be taken. You seated us at the opposite end of a communal table from a family of 3, which we agreed to. You did not offer to pay for our food, and we were not looking for that regardless. Finally, we left because we now knew that after waiting more than an hour you had not even begun to prepare our food. Our Portuguese is not good but the waiter spoke English too and the menu has English. The restaurant is right on the river next to the Roman bridge so the view is perfect....
