One of the best meals I have ever had. Don't be fooled by the decor and the fact that the place doesn't even become busy until 22:30 - the food is inventive, "authentic" (whatever that really means), and most importantly delicious.
We paid €35 for two beers, a bottle of wine and four plates of tapas and we would have happily paid double. Highlights include a tender curried duck in puff pastry and the cod bruschetta.

The food here was great, we tried a few of the dishes and they where all delicious. (The only bad thing was some of the toastinias with the oven cheese where stale) but apart from that everything was amazing.
The staff is very friendly and helpful, this place lives up to it rating.
The price is very good for Faro (€7-9) for a tapas dish which is delicious and a good size. We also had desert 'doce da avó' which was a tasty treat to finish off.
The atmosphere was fairly quiet and simple, it feels like a very typical portuguese restaurant, nothing fancy here, just good food.
I will definitely come again next time...

Highly recommend the octopus - extremely tender with a super rich sauce (need to mention there was also coriander in it, just in case someone doesn’t like it). Also the owner took his time to explain to us the entire menu in English and gave us his recommendations. Go visit this amazing restaurant and...
