Plan Be GuestHouse — Hotel in Faro

Absolutely loved this Guesthouse. Spotlessly clean, modern, bright and my ‘Be Rooted’ room was spacious. I found the bed and pillows very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Nelson & Jose (Virtual Team) were excellent at answering questions or queries pre-arrival. I chose this property mainly because of its proximity to the train station for my inward journey the following morning (about 8 minutes walk). There’s a small kitchen in the property to make tea / coffee (you need to have your own supplies) and prepare food. There’s no obvious signage outside; just Plan Be written on the frosted glass so wasn’t immediately easy to identify. There’s only small downside is that the rooms aren’t well soundproofed so you can hear anyone in the kitchen (not that busy to be fair) or the shower / toilet from the neighbouring rooms. Only an issue if you’re a light sleeper like me. The rooms aren’t was incredibly well priced!

Note for other tourists visiting (I was here Friday night mid February and checked in at 10pm and checked out at 7.45am). There were no shops / restaurants open nearby at night or the morning after. My train left Faro at 8.20am and whilst there is a small coffee shop / bakery at the station, it’s cash...

Stayed at Plan B guest house when we needed to be in Faro for a couple of days. Its was spotlessly clean , a comfortable king size bed & large bathroom. When I asked about breakfast & mentioned I was diabetic Nelson went out of his way to make sure breakfast was suitable providing a delicious assortment of nuts, fruit & yogurt, eggs ,bread and anything else he thought I might be able to eat. This was delivered to our room at our choice of time. We ate breakfast on our balcony or you can eat in the kitchen area outside your room. In the kitchen area you can make coffee. There is a fridge, also a washing machine for guests use.Once again all spotlessly clean. Rooms are themed & you can choose various activities around the area. Nelson is a great host keeping in contact during your stay to make sure all is ok. I cant thank him enough for going above and beyond to cater for my diabetes. If your looking for somewere close to Faro centre with all its attractions this is a good place to stay. You will certainly be looked...

I strongly advise future guests to avoid this property.||After booking for our family (4 adults and 5 children), I received an immediate message from the owner saying there was no space for us and asking us to cancel - impolite and rude. I pointed out that this was unfair, as the property was listed as available on Booking.com, stating a price for each member. Shortly after, the owner replied publicly with a discriminatory and insulting comment, saying their place was “not a gypsies tent.”||||This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It shows not only disrespect toward guests but also misleading information on availability. The owner’s response was also sent to my email and published under my review.||||As a long-time Booking.com and TripAdvisor user, I have never encountered such an offensive attitude. I hope both platforms take appropriate action and reconsider their cooperation with this host. The owner is reported to Google and Booking, and if he continues to behave like this, I will take...
