Pé no Bairro — Restaurant in Figueira da Foz

Had a lovely dinner tonight. The menu is small, the food simple but it was fresh, tasty and after a number of super salty meals in Lisbon it was exactly what we wanted.

We had the chicken, migas, spring rice and Algarve salad. The portions were very generous and we definitely could have had fewer sides in terms of volume of food.

The staff were lovely and friendly, the restaurant is nicely decorated and fresh having only recently opened. It was a very quiet night in town and we ate early so atmosphere was quiet. This is a real dog-friendly restaurant. We were there today with two corgis. Amazing respect for dogs! Clean bowls and fresh water. You can even go inside the restaurant with your dogs which is a huge rarity in Portugal. Very tasty food. It is obvious that there is an internal regulation on interaction with visitors.
