Order: Super Bock Pint (4€) Ice Tea (2,50€), Espresso (1,20€), Camarão a Guilho (19,50€), Amêijoas (19,50€), fries, bread, olives (not on bill)

Food: olives and bread were nice fries were a little bland, but with some salt they were good. In the end they were unnecessary though, as the seafood and the bread were filling enough clams were served in butter-stock mix with coriander, very rich and juicy, cooked perfectly, 250grams serving shrimp were half peeled and served in garlicky stock, very sweet, tender and juicy

Service/Atmosphere: a lot of things we wanted to order were either unavailable even though they were on the blackboard (percebes) or had gone bad upon checking (mussels, I really appreciate the honesty here, because nobody should eat spoiled seafood), the staff was very sorry, friendly and helped us decide on a different dish atmosphere looking over the beach was very nice

Verdict: Simple and delicious, this is how a good quality ingredient should be treated! Going here was very spontaneous for lunch before dining at Ocean, but it was worth coming and completed a very satisfying culinary day in Porches. Would definitely come again next time I am in Portugal.

Really terrible. Everything was tinned, from the veg to the pate (served STILL IN THE TIN), to the tuna, and poor quality. The fresh fish was wildly overpriced, which based on what we did order, I’m glad we didn’t waste our money on as I have a feeling it wouldn’t have been cooked well anyway.

Service wasn’t good either. At first we were pressured to make decisions quickly, given dirty looks when we asked for a table in the sun, and then took ages to get the bill off them to pay (had to ask twice for the bill).

I wasn’t expecting a five star meal or anything, but this was truly disappointing, the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. We only had a few bites of each dish and gave it up as a lost cause.

Not worth the “experience” of eating...

Family lunsj, a break from the burning hot sun on the beach. The restaurant was half full. Ate an omulette with chips, and a small salad, and the children ate fish fingers with chips. Food came after cirka 30 min. The chips in general were undercooked. The omulette really didn't taste anything. When we ordered extra drinks, it took forever, and one actually came when we were read to leave.

When ready to pay we realized that the restaurant didn't accept any cards except debit cards from Portugal. Doesn't take a genius to understand that this restaurant doesn't pay its taxes.

Didn't expect much from a beach restaurant but this was not worth the money. Service was slow...
