We have been there three times and food has been fantastic and most of the servers are incredibly friendly and helpful. One quirk is we came at 5:45PM and while most tables were empty but reserved we were sent to a corner table. By the time we left at 7:15 most of the reserved tables had still not been occupied. Might be a Portugal thing not sure. Had the grilled squid last night fantastic and my wife had the filet of sole which she said was the best she ever had. In fact she had it all three times we went there. I feel bad giving service just a 4 as two of the three gentlemen who served us were fantastic and deserve a 5 but one server was a bit on the grumpy side.

Family lunsj, a break from the burning hot sun on the beach. The restaurant was half full. Ate an omulette with chips, and a small salad, and the children ate fish fingers with chips. Food came after cirka 30 min. The chips in general were undercooked. The omulette really didn't taste anything. When we ordered extra drinks, it took forever, and one actually came when we were read to leave. When ready to pay we realized that the restaurant didn't accept any cards except debit cards from Portugal. Doesn't take a genius to understand that this restaurant doesn't pay its taxes. Didn't expect much from a beach restaurant but this was not worth the money. Service was slow and unfriendly.

Ein wunderbarer Ort. In einer kleinen Bucht gelegen, die sich zum Abend angenehm leert, sitzt man auf der Terrasse direkt am Strand mit Blick aufs Meer. Der Service war immer aufmerksam und das Personal sehr freundlich und kinderlieb. Die Kids bekamen 2 mal Nachschlag zur Kinder-Spaghetti Bolo. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber es gibt stets frischen Fisch vom Grill, den man sich in der Auslage aussuchen kann. Gegrillter Calamar, Dorade, Red Snapper und vieles mehr kommt top auf den Teller. Die Fische werden vom Service am Tisch filetiert. Man kann locker in Badeshorts und Short hier vom Strandtag zum Abendessen aufschlagen. Sehr relaxt, einfach, lecker - mehr brauch ich im Urlaub nicht. Die Preise sind fair und mit ab 60€/kg für den frischen Fisch ortsüblich günstig. Für kleine Drinks, Snacks und Eis gibt es ein Kioskfenster, wo man sich tagsüber eindecken kann. Absolute Empfehlung fürs ein einfaches, entspanntes, freundliches und sehr leckeres Abendessen, bei dem die Kids zwischendurch am Strand spielen und kicken können :-) Reservierung empfohlen, geht einfach per Telefon. Nur Barzahlung!

Na początek z żoną zamówiliśmy butelkę wina, widok na plażę i morze z tarasu restauracji był genialny. Oceny tego lokalu i opinie nie były zachęcające ale w okolicy byliśmy już we wszystkich lokalach (z resztą nie ma ich tam za wiele). Ledwie wypiliśmy po lampce, gdy nagle zerwał się silny wiatr i zaczęło lać. Wpadamy do środka restauracji a tam wszystkie stoliki zajęte, a my stoimy z butelką wina w reku.i nerwem w oczach. Kelnerzy tylko na siebie spojrzeli, zorganizowali migiem dla Nas dodatkowy stolik z krzesłami, ustawili w samym centrum lokalu. Kelner z gracją przyjął zamówienia, za chwileczkę przybiegł z surową rybą, z pytaniem czy ta nam odpowiada :) Po 20 minutach zjawił się z powrotem przy naszym stoliku i przed nałożeniem nam na talerze, sprawnie ryby odfiletował, no super to wszytko podane, ziemniaczki,i sosiki, ful service. Bardzo pozytywne wrażenie zrobiła na nas obsługa kelnerska, a kucharz przeszedł samego siebie, nigdy jeszcze nie jedliśmy tak wspaniałej Ryby. Polecamy Restauracje Vilarinho i pozdrawiamy całą załogę. Koszt jak na takie warunki wcale nie wygórowany.

What a great place to relax and have a drink, have something to eat and enjoy the stunning view! Service is great. Okay the boss seems a little grumpy but just give him a chance and you will notice he is a nice guy. This was our favorite restaurant and bar in The Algarve by far. The menu contains enough variation and the fresh fish is awesome!

Fantastic view out to see, especially at sunset. Food wonderful, the Fish is landed on the beach in front of the Restaurant, you choose from the fish bar, it's cooked to perfection and is filleted at the table, if you wish. Great selection of drinks too. Fantastic vibe and well worth experiencing! It is cash only, though, so be prepared!
