We have just eaten here for the first (and last) time having been recommended by friends and encouraged by it's 4.3* rating on Google. On arrival we thought it looked pleasant, busy and vibrant but unfortunately that is where the good news ends. We were left standing by the entrance for a good ten minutes, despite catching the eye of numerous waiters/waitresses. My better half ventured inside to enquire as to whether they might have a table for two at which point we were directed to a dirty table covered in empty glasses and wine bottles on the terrace. After another fifteen minutes or so a waiter came over to ask if everything was alright - I asked if we could possibly have some menus and have someone clean the table at which point he admonished us for sitting at a table that hadn't been cleaned! After I pointed out that we had been told by the waitress to sit there he then proceeded to admonish her for terrible service! Having had the table cleared and wiped down he then disappeared and we were left waiting for a further 30 minutes before anyone offered us a drinks or menus. The drinks arrived promptly and the food within a reasonable time - the waitress who delivered it asked if we would like some black pepper, to which we agreed, never to be seen again! Halfway through our unpeppered main course a waiter wheeled over the flambe trolley for the table behind, parking it directly adjacent to ours and leaving us struggling to breathe/eat with all the butane fumes. The food was reasonable for the price but the service was appalling. Suffice to say we skipped dessert, paid the bill as promptly as possible (going inside to do so having been left waiting yet again) never to return...
