Pizzeria Bell'Itália — Restaurant in Lagos

Got there at 10:15pm; they said kitchen closes at 10:30pm. On google it says they close at 11pm. Was greeted by a very frustrated woman/manager that insisted that they closed at 10:30pm (it was 10:15…) So we got a pizza to take out and some beers. Drank the beers as we waited for the pizza. For some reason they prepared our table with cutlery, but when the pizza was done I asked if we can eat here and the lady manager (or whoever) proceeded to laugh and say no…( idk what’s so funny) so we took our pizza outside and ate it there and I could tell she wasn’t happy as she was cursing in Portuguese. (Yes, I understand when someone curses in a different language). Not only that 2 minutes before our pizza was ready, a family got served their food which was not just pizza. Anyways, it was an overall rude experience. I am Canadian, so I can tolerate rude people.(maybe she was having a bad night). My recommendation. Don’t go after 10pm!Oh and to top it all off. Very nice Italian restaurant. They allow substitutes on all dishes, so don't be hesitant to ask. I ended up getting the 4 cheese pasta but with spaghetti. My kid got a mini pizza which, despite its name, was probably enough for an adult. It was all just tasty. It was on italy's level. It's in a quiet part of the town and has plenty of free parking. Beware. Lovely pizzas.Really reasonably priced. No air con so very hot in mid- summer. Took nearly two hours to get our food in the restaurant. Take way orders join the queue for food with no priority given to those in restaurant. Perfect for children apart from wait for food. We will try it again midweek to see if it is any better.
