Ok this place is a must visit if you are craving Indian food in Lagos. I was starting to get home sick and really missed my mom’s cooking during my trip to Portugal and I’m so happy I came to try this place. We didn’t make reservations and walked in, only took a few minutes of waiting for a seat. We ordered their onion bhaji which I felt had more of a soft inside compared to the crispy version I’m used to but still tasty! The mint sauce was also a different compared to the dark green version I’m used to. We also ordered their tandoori chicken which was enormous and can be considered a main tbh, it was really succulent and not dry at all. We also had their Shahi paneer, which was amazing and not too rich, with lamb curry and garlic naan and a side of white rice. We chose to try the special (chef Rajeev’s mother’s recipe) which was fantastic. Probably too much food for two people but we managed...

I must say, this place was truly a breath of fresh air! This was the first place I stopped at when arriving in Lagos so happy I did. The food was flavorful, delicious, and so filling. I ordered a brunch special I also had veggie samosas with tamarind sauce and onion rings — everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The service was wonderful and attentive. When I noticed there was outside seating, I asked if I could move and they happily accommodated me with no problem. They even gave me take-away boxes without hesitation, which I appreciated.

What really stood out to me is how vegan- and vegetarian-friendly the menu is. I had no trouble finding plenty of yummy options to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming...

I went there with my boyfriend who is allergic to nuts. We mention the allergy to the waiter to be sure the meal we choosed was safe. When my boyfriend started eating the meal, he felt a discomfort. He did an allergic reaction and was very sick for days, which kinda ruined our trip. When we went back to the restaurant to ask for the list of the ingredients they used to cook the meal we choosed, the owner of the restaurant told us that it was "impossible for us to make a list of the ingredients because they used too much ingredients to prep the meal". She didn't want to help us and was not very empathic and didn't felt too concerned by the situation.

Tasty food but awfull service. A flagrant lack of cautiousness in the way they prep food and in the way they take care of...

Fireworks in my mouth. Goosebumps with every bite! If I could lick the plate I would but there were people around. 🤣 It’s been such a long time I ate at a restaurant I was completely blown away. I tried three different dishes and one more complex and out of this world than the other. The vegetables and shrimp used in the dishes were super fresh. The restaurant is new has a fresh and modern feel and it’s a family run business. One brother is the chef, the other is running the front of the house. Ask him for recommendations. You won’t be disappointed. The spices used in every dish was to give you taste of India from far. Do not leave before you try their homemade ice cream. Sad I don’t live here. But I will definitely come back and will be dreaming of the flavors for sure.
