Terrible experience at Old Vic!

I went there with friends expecting to have a good time, but the service was absolutely disappointing. I waited for over 30 minutes just to place an order. The waiter was rude and disrespectful from the start. When he finally came to the table, he brought popcorn and acted annoyed because I was impatient — after such a long wait, who wouldn’t be?

When I tried to order something, he said they were only serving ham and cheese toasties, without giving any proper explanation or apology. On top of that, the prices were insanely high for both food and drinks. The drinks especially are ridiculously overpriced considering the poor service and limited options.

Definitely not worth it. Terrible cost-benefit. There are plenty of better places in Lisbon with way better service and...

Unfortunately, when the waiter approached my table, he took my friend's order but ignored me entirely. I waited patiently for him to acknowledge me, but he didn’t. Eventually I had to leave my seat and approach the waiter to place my order. Even then, his behavior remained dismissive. When my drink was prepared, he left it near me without saying a word, throwing the straw toward my drink instead of handing it to me properly. Throughout this interaction, he paid no attention to me and seemed focused on speaking with other customers nearby.

I strongly believe this treatment was racially motivated, as there was no other apparent reason for the way I was disregarded. This made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable in an environment where all customers should be treated...

What a great find! A hidden little gem in the heart of Lisbon! My partner and I popped in for a late night drink on arrival to the city where we were greeted with popcorn, snacks and a selection of the most amazing cocktails (The Pina Colada was incredible and their cocktail decorations so cute and delicious, my parther said it was the best Old Fashioned he's ever had!), the service of the father & son team was impeccable, they really made us feel at home...
