I like the pastries in this place, and the coffee here is also quite good. Unfortunately, the organization and the general condition of the space leave much to be desired.
I’ve been visiting this café for about two years, and I’ve simply run out of patience watching how two girls have to do everything at once — clean tables, make coffee, prepare sandwiches, and handle payments. Naturally, it’s impossible to do all that quickly. As a result, while one is making coffee and the other is preparing food, a line of four people is waiting just to place their orders. It looks very strange and inefficient.
When I finally get my coffee, I often have to sit at a dirty table because the staff simply don’t have time to clean it. It’s unpleasant and, honestly, unacceptable nowadays.
I also want to point out the problem with ventilation. Maybe it exists, but either it doesn’t work or it’s just not turned on. As soon as it gets a bit cooler outside, it becomes stuffy inside and there’s literally no air to breathe. The air feels stale, and it’s hard to stay inside for long. Maybe the local customers don’t mind it — they seem used to it and relaxed about waiting and sitting in such conditions. But for me, it’s a serious downside because fresh air is important for both health...
Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Copenhagen Coffee Lab. I came in around 10am on a busy Saturday, ordered an iced americano, and planned to do some work on my laptop. I was handed order number 25 and settled at my table.
I understand it was a busy time, so I was patient. After about 10 minutes, I politely followed up with the person who took my order — he said “not yet,” so I kept waiting. After another 15 minutes, I checked again, and again was brushed off with “not yet,” even though I noticed plenty of people who ordered after me (including full brunch plates) getting served.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after nearly an hour, a staff member clearing tables removed my order number. I explained I was still waiting for my drink, and she responded in the most dismissive, cheeky tone: “Here you go, here you go, take your number back” like I was the problem.
Finally, when I went to the counter to demand an explanation, they realized they had completely lost my order — no one had noticed or cared the entire time.
This was honestly one of the most frustrating cafe experiences I’ve ever had. I won’t be coming back, and I’d caution others looking for a place to...
Read moreRIP-OFF here you pay the same as in same in the other city center from north Europe. The food is not better than all the other coffee places around and with the same menu. The waiters are not educated and they don’t care about the customers. Waiting time 45 minutes 1 cheese and ham croissant 2 avocado sandwiches. 2 coffees and 1 orange juice. After 30 minutes of waiting and 20 after receiving the coffees I asked to change one of the coffees because my wife doesn’t like cold coffee and the waiter come to the table with the same coffee and said that he would not change, because we should have informed when we did the order. After saying again that we would not drink this coffee he said (** you) I asked the complaint book and he gave me without any problem. 37€ for this! The other side of the street you have another coffee where the food is better and the waiters more educated and half...
