The food was delicious, and the owner/server, Van, was kind and knowledgable. She explained the dishes well.
Goi cuon Tom thit Nice amount of meat and shrimps inside. Sauce was flavorful.
Pho Broth had a deep flavor, you could still taste the herbs (mint, coriander, ginger, scallions). The meat and noodles were tender. Great for a cold night.
Bun bo The beef and peanuts were rich and the onions were caramelized nicely. The cool sauce and herbs made the dish fresh and zesty. Crispy nem rolls were satisfying with the crunchy texture. Well-rounded plate for warm summer days.
30.Che khoai lang Wow, this was such a refreshing dessert! Coconut milk was creamy and the sweet potatoes added a nice weight to the dish. The tapioca pearls were soft. I liked that it was not overly sweet.
Only cons were that there wasn't music for the full length of the meal and a little breeze would have helped me to eat more spicy sauce.
We will return soon to try the mango sticky rice,...
Read moreI was looking for authentic pho and bun vermicelli and I found it!! The broth was certainly simmered for over 2 days to get that depth and flavour with the authentic combination of spices. Delicious and satisfying. Then the bun vermicelli with pork was amazing. The fried onions and lemongrass grilled pork was addictive plus the nuoc cham sauce with the perfectly cooked vermicelli was spectacular. Also I can’t forget the expertly executed nems! It’s been a long time I’ve eaten such a well made version, inside and out. All the authenticity I was looking for. So impressed and I don’t need to go any further. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese, this was it. No catering to westernized or local tastes. My...
Read moreThis small spot offers a solid Vietnamese dining experience—everything we tried was tasty and well-prepared. While the dishes delivered on authentic flavour, a few could have packed a bit more punch to really stand out.
The restaurant has a cosy and inviting atmosphere, though it can feel cramped during peak hours due to limited seating.
Staff were polite but not especially helpful or chatty—likely due to a language barrier—so we ended up using Google to look up several menu items ourselves.
Overall, a good experience with decent food at a fair price. Worth checking out if you're in the mood for Vietnamese, just don’t expect bold flavours...
