Fome De Leāo — Restaurant in Lisbon

We visited here twice whilst we were in Lisbon based on a recommendation from our uber driver that this place serves authentic Portuguese bbq

Well safe to say, it was hands down the best bbq in Lisbon. All of the food was delicious, the chicken was the best BBQ chicken that I’ve ever had. First day we had the chicken, next day we came back to try the mixed meat platter The owner was so friendly and helped with recommendations and you could tell he was passionate about his food and loved what he does - it is a beautifully ran family business

Oh and do yourself a favour and try the Oreo dessert - you will not be...

Some days are good, when all is good organised and the food is tasty.. Other days are quite disappointing. The last few times I came here, the place seemed to be understaffed. One person who is responsible for seating the guests, taking the orders, serving and the payment..! It looks so unorganised. The quality of food is also dropping. Last time was not tastefull.. At least last we got our food.. Previous time they totally forgot us after taking the order. I hope they manage to set things back right...

Food was delicious. We had the chicken grilled with charcoal + octopus in the oven with potatoes + a vegan dessert (a big tender apple cooked in the oven with cinnamon and sugar). Wine of the house and beer were great too. Service was excellent: the staff attended us with great care and patience and warmth (having a small baby this was really appreciated). The restaurant is spacious, clean, and many locals were eating there. We had a great experience, we definitely recommend this...
