Good for young people, but not perfect
It's quite clean but could be better (marks on doors, some dust, smells humidity.
The sheets were visibly old, as well as the rest of the furniture.
We had a private bathroom but the shower was not very well installed, you can see they have done it themselves, and why put parquet in a bathroom??
The place is quite quiet, which is good, just some people making a bit of noise entering the house because we were next to the entry door.
We haven't seen anybody during our 4-days stay, it's ok for us but I wouldn't have known what to do if we had an urgent problem; there was a phone number in case of problem but it's not the best in my opinion.
I didn't like the fact that despise the "Do not disturb" sign we put on the handle and the locked door, they entered our room while we were not there to change signs on the walls. I mean if I put this sign it's because I don't like people to enter and see my stuff...
But the price is good anyway, so I would recommend it for young people wanting to travel but having a private bedroom...
Read moreI visited (with my boyfriend) this guesthouse in May 2015 in order to attend a conference in Lisbon. The location was really good; the metro and bus stop were just 5 min on foot. It was not located centrally but for me it was ideal since the conference was taking place less than 20 min far. Although our check-in was late at night (00:00) Ana-the woman that runs the guesthouse- was waiting for use outside the building. She was really kind and explained us all the necessary details. The guesthouse is consisted of several rooms. Our room had toilet and bathroom en-suite and we only had to share the kitchen. There was no noise after 22:00 even though there were other people living in the guesthouse because the policy is quite strict; I really liked that fact. There was a very nice coffee-pastry shop around the corner that had a very nice character and several shops with clothes and shoes as well as a supermarket.||The only drawback is that we had to pay 15 euros plus for the late check-in but we were informed about...
Read moreWow, it is though to find something good in Lisbon these days for 35 euro, but this hostel came forward. ||The hostel is located in a nice area a bit outside of the city center but two minutes away from an important metro station (going straight to airport and all important city center places). We stayed on the third floor (guerra II) and not the fifth! ||The hostel was spotless clean. We had a room with shared bathroom and that one was amazingly large, clean and nice. So was the room. ||We loved the owners who were really friendly. The Wifi works spotless, the kitchen is great and so on and so on.||||We have one important issue and that is that the matresses are not good. These springs in there, brrrr. The rooms can also get also warm (there is a fan and the street is relatively calm), but that's in every hostel in Lisbon I'm afraid.||||No, if you don't mind to be in the real city center - and why would you - this is a great place for a great price. And therefore, they...
