O Pote Restaurante — Restaurant in Lisbon

This place is near our lodging and the metro station. The menu is limited if you order in English, with the Portuguese menu having more items and variety. The pricing is pretty cheap and food is usually placed extremely fast on the table. The food itself is mediocre at best and dry/flaky at worst. The red meat is cooked through and is barely chewable. It is better to choose the turkey dishes to avoid that. There's usually a heap of spinach and French fries with each meal but that's it. The staff do the minimal work. Conversation, communication is done minimally and they do not engage/react to most things. Several of the staff wear constant grimaces and serve food by plopping plates harshly on the table, regardless if it was us or the other groups they served. We came in at a quiet time but it felt like we were unwanted and that they didn't want to serve us. Its a good place to fulfill food needs, but...

We stumbled upon this restaurant and ordered grilled pork with fries rice and broccoli with a mixed salad. It's a value for money Portuguese restaurant. For both dishes we spent only €11! There's 4 pieces of grilled pork and they are yummy! Salad was disappointing as it was kinda sour with vinegar not our preference but we ate it together with the pork. Servicio pésimo, comida buena..

Pondría 0 estrellas, pero no aparece la opción. Pues fuimos a cenar, nos sentamos y enseguida nos traeron los menus, el camarero muy amable nos explicó que es lo que hay etc y nos dejó para elegir..hasta aquí bien. Luego viene el otro camarero y mientras pediamos nos dijo, un momento y nos dejó..pensaba que iba a preguntar algo sobre nuestro pedido..que va. Se fue a recoger los platos de la mesa de al lado y tambien le trajo al señor el postre ..que mala educación, por favor, dejar unos para servir a otros. Cuando ya habia acabado evidentemente con las otras mesas ..se vino hacia la nuestra para seguir con el pedido...pedimos..la comida no era del otro mundo pero buena..y al final..nos cobraron por los dos bollos y la mantequilla que no hemos pedido, y un huevo que venía en la ensalada mixta, esto era ya el colmo de verdad..no es para los 60 sentimos pero no dicen que no está incluido..no saben como tratar a los...
