Hamburgueria do Bairro (São Bento) — Restaurant in Lisbon

We stayed in Lisbon for 3 nights and visited this restaurant twice, it was so worth it! Each time we came the service was superb and the food even better! I highly recommend their sweet potato fries, I have never tasted sweet potato cooked so well! The burgers are all fantastic too, each time we came my partner and I could not decide on just 1 burger and so we chose two each, on both occasions and split them, so in total we tried 4 burgers and each one was just as good as the other. The standard and quality of the food does not compare to the price, for such tasty and filling dishes the price is extremely cheap. A MUST visit for Lisbon! I cannot recommend this...

I haven't even been to this place in over a year and I still crave it and rave about it. Its THAT good!

There are so many unique flavors, and the meat is incredible. The french fries were also to-die-for. We came here after surfing for a few hours and it hit the spot. I came many times after that.

Sometimes it can be busy, but it's worth the wait. You pay at the counter after you eat so it's easy to split your bill with a group.

We went here yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Our burgers were both very good, with quality ingredients, and cooked to a nice medium. The sweet potato fries were quite good but not crispy, if that is important to you. Prices for the burgers INCLUDE regular fries, making the prices a very good value, in my opinion.

Of note, they only accept "local" credit or bank cards, or cash. We live nearby and will definitely go back and try some other options. They have several vegetarian options, which is nice as well, although we have not...
