Wouldn't recommend. Disappointing all around. The cosy atmosphere is ruined by radio music playing (we had to listen to 50 cent In da club in 2018). Just because the restaurant owner hires seasonal italian waiters this doesn't make it authentic for that.;
The dishes are also disappointing, the burrata is great but knowing that is the only thing the restaurant doesn't do themselves doesn't mean much. The main dishes : We had the ricotta spinach raviolis, as basic as they come, absolutely nothing special or noteworthy about it. Furthermore is a small dose. We also had the Octopus Penne, but the octopus was missing from the dish, so it was only penne pommodoro for me. Given that the mains are expensive for Lisbon market 14-16€ this is a very bad choice as a restaurant. Would't recommend...
Read moreI am writing this review in English so that everyone can understand. We went back to this restaurant, which we loved. We ordered to eat and the risotto was tasteless. We asked for more cheese to see if it had more flavour but we still had two spoonfuls and then switched to another dish. We thought the decency of the staff would make it free of charge. But then we overheard the cook bad-mouthing us from the kitchen, complaining about our appreciation and finally they charged us for it on the bill. It's not just the charge, in general we were disappointed because the manager was super unpleasant, the other two girls were lovely. If the owners, whom we met before, knew about this, I hope they would regret how their restaurant is run.
It was a disappointment,...
Read moreOver priced food that lacked the authentic taste of Italy. I had high hopes for the restaurant. Starters are very limited in the range of antipasti. My partner had baby tomatoes with basil on toast. It was smothered in a liquid cheese. Yuk. I had mushrooms on toast, again it lacked any flavour and was a gluttonous slime of an offering. Main course veal with roasted potatoes was a very dry offering, with no sauce. My prawn tagliatelle with tomato was overwhelmed by the addition of a cheesy sauce. Not what I expected as I was told it was a tomato sauce. Very disappointed. We didn't bother trying the dessert. I'd certainly not go again. There must be better Italian restaurants...
