La Brasserie de L’Entrecôte — Restaurant in Lisbon

Knowing the various restaurants of La Brasserie de L´Entrecôte, known of their traditional meat plate and famous sauce, this time I ended up trying the one in Colombo Shopping Center. The welcome by the lady was OK, it was still very calm when I entered on a Saturday evening at 7pm. After being seated, almost immediately being helped by the most amazing girl, hopefully I spell her name correctly; Eula. Only a 5 star rating does not do justice to Eula´s outstanding service. Besides the kindness to ´serve´ me and my table partner, it was her professionalism, calmness, effectiveness and most amazing smile, or if you will ´aura´ of Eula, which really stood out and sets her apart from the rest! I have been to this restaurant twice. At first it was acceptable, but it was really bad when I came back the second time. I would not want to come back again. This place may lose customers because of some of the waiters, their attitude is really unprofessional, or this may be the style of the restaurant owner. A meal with a very long waiting time. Even when there were no customers in the restaurant, I had to wait more than an hour for the meat to be served on the table. The first meal they brought out a hot plate, the second meal they gave me a freshly washed plate, put it on my table, still wet and they wiped it right in front of me. When I came the first time, we had to change a plate because they did not clean it very well. The second time, the knife was not cleaned well either and I had to ask for a change. A very nice restaurant but with some funny mistakes....

Just wanted to find a quiet place to get a good lunch and some wine. Didn’t see too many people here but sooo glad I went. Yes limited menu (well at least for lunch not sure otherwise) but just wanted a good steak. YES!! steak was so good, melt in your mouth, wine was good…butter was soft when served (I totally judge that) and they brought a hot plate to serve the steak (totally French!) plus a little candlelit thing to keep the extra warm.
