Oh!yami — Restaurant in Lisbon

Went there for my birthday and the overall experience was terrible. I had to wait for almost 20 plus minutes for a table , after we could seat and sent the order only a small dish with 4 prawns arrived from the 5-7 items then we waited and was not like after 50 minutes we had to ask again if we should keep on waiting for the rest of the food and Thier response was we lost your order so had to reorder again that was relatively simple as it was to write the number of the item and get the item so did that 2 times and after an hour got a random dish that I didn't even order was unbelievable so had to complain again and order for a 3 time hoping for the order to be accurate arrived at 8:45 and in two hours they only served me very few dishes with incredibly small portions so left hungry and had the worst birthday celebration DO NOT recommend this place also the sushi quality is very poor rice is dry sushi falls apart not a nice place...

Remember that you pay for what you eat. Here the dinner costs 14,90€ per person, and that’s exactly what you’ll eat: still frozen sashimi, sushi and rolls full of rice, old wasabi (that is obviously fake) and oily fries. If to compare with similar restaurants, you might as well like it for the price, if your objective to fill your belly, that is. If you want to enjoy your food, this is not the place for you.

The staff doesn’t speak Portuguese nor English (around B1 maybe?), but the at least seem nice. We were different groups on a big table, we asked dishes on different papers, but they put all pieces of sushi etc. on the same plate. That was very uncomfortable and everyone ended up eating random pieces, as well as people from the other side of the table had to stand up to put the pieces on their own plate.

No negative comments about the atmosphere, it’s ok. The ceiling is cool though!

I used to go to this place everyweek almost. But I stopped going there a long time ago, their rice turned a really sweet type of rice and really small ratio of salmon to rice. And the salmon is always like kinda hot, it doesn’t have a fresh flavour.

The service is extremely slow, we wait like 30min for each plate, plus the servers always serve you like ‘😒’ kindaaaa rude, I don’t know if it’s because they do not speak english nor portuguese that well..

And the atmosphere is okay, not great not horrible, it is okay, nothing to mind I’d say. Overall really sad, cause I...
