Pros: The hotel boasts a unique and distinctive decor that is sure to appeal to younger guests, with modern and trendy elements that create a lively and stylish atmosphere. The design features a blend of contemporary aesthetics and artistic touches, making it a great choice for those seeking a vibrant and visually interesting space to stay in. In addition to its eye-catching interior, the hotel is also in a fantastic location, offering great convenience for travelers. Cons: The room is relatively small, offering limited space that may feel a bit cramped for those who are accustomed to more spacious accommodations. Unfortunately, the room lacks several amenities that could make the stay more convenient and comfortable, such as a coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave, and hairdryer, which are commonly found in many hotels. Additionally, the room is missing a safe and a wardrobe, which could be problematic for guests needing a secure place to store valuables or more space to organize their clothing. The window in the room is also quite small, limiting the amount of natural light that enters the space and giving it a somewhat confined feel. While the room may serve its basic purpose, the absence of these essential amenities and features may not meet the expectations of some guests seeking a more comfortable and well-equipped environment...
Read moreVery uninspired staff. I had a prebooked prepaied stay and showed them the company card number for this booking which my travel app supplied to show if asked to swipe own card since this should cover any expenses such as local tax. Also I opened and showed them the letter with information directed to amy frontdesk person to read including email to my booking company in case of any questions. The woman refused to read it and asked me to contact the agent again. Second time I had called my agent and she said she had emailed frontdesk and that woman there had confirmed email and talked to my agent. They now said they did not get any call or any email snd it was only them both at the desh and noone called. I called again coming back to my room and now agent said she talked to a Jessica. When i talked to agent frontdesk girl called me to ask me to come down and get refund of my private card. I asked which one is J*a and this was she, the second woman replied. Withput saying anything the first woman was refunding the first charge and gave me the card slip. I asked why they did not care to read or look at the information i showed them before, they could have helped me to email my agent asking for details they needed but instead they refused to help me and let me stand there as a fool claining I was lier and that my agent never talked to them. Her reply was that she had not done anything wrong. I cursed her for not doing her job to help and service her guests. The manager came after me to the elevator and said he can not tollerate such behaviour because the employes deserve respect. I told the customer is always right and when in a service position you need yo be polite spoligize and know that you work for the client that actually pays...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel the night before the big power outage that affected Portugal and Spain. The power went out as we were packing up to check out of the room and make our way to the airport to fly home. At first we thought it might just be the hotel or the neighborhood but soon learned the extent of the outage. Needless to say, being in a foreign country under such extreme conditions was very nerve-racking.||The Moxy handled the situation admirably.||To begin, they had the foresight to have a back-up generator. And it was a powerful one that lasted for many hours and kept many things operable. We were able to take our luggage down 11 floors in the elevator. We were able to charge our phones in the lobby. We were able to have food and drink at their bar. We were able to use the restrooms off the lobby. All of this was not possible at other places around the city and country.||The staff should also be commended. They handled the power outage with grace and compassion as everyone worked extremely hard to ensure all of their guests (and us former guests) were comfortable and well taken care of under such trying times. Everyone remained calm and made due even though the thought of the generator running out well before the power returning was in everyone's mind.||Before all of this, our stay was quite nice. Very pleasant check-in. Good room size, excellent shower, AC that worked well, good lobby bar, and excellent location near the train station and not too far from the airport.||We were SO very happy that we were at this hotel when the whole country was...
