PROVA E FICA — Restaurant in Lisbon

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨SCAM , DO NOT GO HERE . I went to dinner today with my boyfriend and his child with 5 years old .. I would give 0 stars if I could . PROVA E FICA IS A LIE . Dishes that they sell as Portuguese dishes don't match the reality, as a Portuguese I know what a Carne de porco á alentejana , arroz de marisco and bacalhau á Brás should be .. tuna pate was not pate .. FULL LIE 🎯 I know what I'm saying. We try to have a friendly approach and give constructive advice to improve the quality of their service and we were ignored by the owner and chef himself. Oscar , the owner and chef is rude with lack of education and respect for his clients l, plus he is aggressive when confronted with honesty , with no interest in improvement as he turn his back to his clients who were trying to give him advice on the quality of the food. " Just pay and go " his words , before this , they were discussing bills and financial issues from the restaurant in front of us while making us waiting when we express our opinion about the service .. treating us in second person Grammar .. like we are colleges (?) not even looking at us.. aggressive with our dog , removing the carpet under him with hostility. He didn't even listen to us when we try to explain him that those dishes were not made according the Portuguese culture and that he was not serving what he is selling .. arrogant in all ways , we were almost calling the police . no Portuguese people working here, Brazilian , Argentina , Asia , Africa .. 0 Portuguese culture , so , they don't even know what they are doing ! .. plus , Prices are super high for this robbery. I do not advice this .. don't go , I will not go back , only eddy , Brazilian waitress and argentina guy were friendly, unfortunately, not enough for me...

As a Portuguese person with knowledge of Portuguese food, let me tell you: don't go to this place, the owner only wants to deceive the tourists.

Went here with my family and we ordered 3 different dishes: Bacalhau á Brás; Arroz de marisco and Carne de porco á alentejana. None of the dishes came as the original recipes, not even close, all of the dishes missed most of the main ingredients in it, really poorly made, with no effort to give the best of the culture to the table.

When acknowledging the manager/owner of the place, called Oscar, of the poor quality of his cookings he was very rude and even aggressive in his behavior, forcing myself to ask for the complain book and writing my concerns. He treats the costumers without any consideration or respect, lack of direction for the costumer and lack of communication skills.

The dishes didn't have a good presentation and unfortunately it's an experience I don't recommend to anyone. If you're visiting Lisbon, please make yourself a favor and don't waste your valuable money here, hopefully there are plenty of places worth of your time and appetite.

"Prova e Fica" goes straight to the black book, a place which deserves a right oversight so this person won't keep profiting on people's good will.

1 star because it's not possible to give less, but this place grade goes way below zero, not worth the price, not worth your time,...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Awful- My friend and I ate here yesterday. We ordered the bread and pate. The pate was basically a little bit of mushy fish in oil. Not pate. My friend ordered the fried rice with prawns . I ordered the Sea bass with chips. The food was awful. My sea bass was not scaled prior to cooking. It was inedible. The chips were the only saving Grace. My friends prawn fried rice turned out To be seafood rice with only 3 prawns. Not what she ordered. When we were asked how our meal was and we explained about the rice dish especially, the waiter with glasses said to us that this dish everyone knows it’s mixed seafood rice and that we should of asked if has seafood in it. ?? Uh your menu said it was fried rice with prawns??We found him condescending and patronising as the menu clearly had it written in English-FRIED RICE WITH PRAWNS! Awful food, would never recommend and if you have allergies this place is not the place to go as one thing is written on the menu, another thing will be served to...
