Will this place change your life? No. Is it better than the average pizza in Lisbon? Yes. The place itself doesn't look that great - decor could be better, looks pretty cheap, especially considering the pricing. Me and my girlfriend went there, and because she speaks little Portuguese, she took the menu in English. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the menu, the pizza she ordered had wrong ingredients listed in the English menu, but not in the Portuguese menu. The owners were aware of it when we realised the mistake and pointed it out to them, but they neglected to tell us in advance or to make a note in the already printed menus. They cook all the meats in the oven with the pizza (like prosciutto and mortadella). That's a big NO, it's pizza-making 101. The staff was friendly, but fake-friendly. They really don't care that much about your comfort. They care that you eat and get out of there as quickly as possible to sit more people in - that's pretty obvious, and there's even a sign that kindly asks you to vacate the table 1h after you get your food. I had a terrible experience with Uber Eats that shows how harmful their platform can be — both for customers and for the businesses they work with.
I accidentally selected the wrong address due to poor UX in the app. I noticed the mistake and canceled the order within 2 minutes, but was still charged €35 and received no food, no refund, and no support.
When I reached out, the support chat was abruptly closed. I received zero compensation, not even a credit or voucher.
I spoke with the restaurant, and they told me they couldn’t help — I had to deal with Uber directly, who just ignored me.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Uber Eats takes a big cut from restaurants and leaves customers feeling robbed and businesses looking bad.
