Initially, I was directed to the wrong or other side and then back to my table next to a refrigeration unit that had collected a bit of dust.I ordered a whitefish ceviche and a Dragon Roll.
While my request for less salmon was honored, the ceviche took about 40 minutes to arrive, and the beer took 10 minutes.
The Dragon Roll came after around 54 minutes, with very thinly sliced fish and small portions. The initial service was nice, especially the gentleman with the beard who was very, very friendly.
However, the overall service was too slow.Overall, the experience was average.
I rate the restaurant 2 out of 5 stars. It might be suitable for cocktails or if you have plenty of time for simple sushi, but it doesn’t meet high expectations. The fish selection is limited to tuna, salmon, and whitefish, which was disappointing.
The restaurant seems to cater to a young crowd looking for cocktails and a sushi-esque experience, but it’s not great for authentic sushi lovers.
The high ratings from other guests are puzzling, but good for them if they enjoy it. Lisbon has many excellent restaurants, so it's worth exploring other options for truly good sushi. In conclusion, if you're after cocktails with a bite, this might be the place for you.
But for those yearning for genuine Japanese fish delights, you might want to look elsewhere. Lisbon certainly has better sushi to offer.
There are many other restaurants that can do better, so I hope...
Read moreHORRIBLE! Too slow service, hairs in food. I am not a picky person but this time I will leave a comment: We reserved a table in this ‘brilliant’ restaurant for St.Valentine dinner. Our reserve was for 21:15 thought when we came all tables were occupied and they asked us to wait. On the street. 10 min. Ok, we waited. But not for 10, but for 50 minutes!!!! 50! The waiters did not care and any time we asked they kept saying: it’s almost ready, 5 minutes more. They did not offer drinks or something, they did not apologized!
Finely we were inside to pay 80 euro for 2 people for a very mediocre set of sushi (mini starters we had to share). Very plane sushi with standard salmon/tuna/cucumber varieties. There was also carrot in rolls, ehh.. ok. Wine was cheap.
Do I need to tell you that we had to wait long for every dish?
The final point was our dessert! It was one to share with the portion too small even for 1 person. And THERE WAS A HAIR in it.
They did not apologize, NOTHING! Not they offered a discount...
Read moreWhat a surprise to find a Sushi restaurant in this beautiful district. The price is a little pricy for Lisbon standard I guess. The service is great and very polite. The atmosphere is unique .just in front of restaurant is a bar owned by same owner. The food I ordered was I guess it is called "fire" .it is good assortment of sashimi and sushi for 29 Euros.( I was a solo so plenty for my stomach) .2 glasses of beer plus Sushi came up with 39 Euros. The size of sushi are a bit on small side and not so fresh that I felt despite Lisbon is a port city. But I think no restaurants are perfect and can not satisfy everybody, so I give 5 stars, If you wanna enjoy the Japanese food in...
