Blu — Restaurant in Loulé

This place was absolutely delicious. I started off with a green tea which had a lot of caffeine in it. I shared the crêpioca and the avocado toast with my mom. The crepicoa came with spinach mushrooms and a side of cabbage salad. The avocado sour dough toast came with guacamole mushrooms and a poached egg on top. They also have vegan desserts like pistachio and chocolate truffles. The chocolate ones have a lot of crispy sprinkles on them. The pistachio ones have nuts mixed in and they just melt in your mouth. The waitress was friendly and prompt. We sat inside because it was chilly outside. I went on a Monday and did not have to wait to get in. There are plenty of shops and other restaurants in this area so you can walk around...

It’s incredible and unbelievable how is this place full all the time when it’s so bad. Been there 3 times, first was an average experience the next 2 not so average. One of them I waited 30 mins to be served despite only half of the terrace being occupied, long wait to get attention of the staffing, the next time, I arrived with my baby, fed her a full bottle ( about 20 mins)and still no one approached me to serve me, despite others arriving after me and getting served immediately, so I left without ever getting served and worth mentioning that there were just 5 tables with customers. So disappointing, used this place before but today shocking, felt like being talked down to by waitress because we only wanted coffee not food. But worst of all when I asked for the bill I was told “7,60€ but if you want to pay on CC I’ll have to go and get receipt “ i gave her 10€ and never saw her again! Given we live in Portugal and have a bar we always tip but I like to make that decision not for it to be taken for granted because they think I’m a holidaymaker. Will not be going...
