I have ordered mushroom pizza with extra artichoke (alcachofra in Portuguese) to be delivered through ericeira eats from this restaurant. After 15 minutes of waiting the order status was still "being prepared", I gave them a call, and apparently they missed my order and haven't started cooking yet.
After 30 minutes more I've got my pizza, made the first bite, it was ridiculously salty and smelled like fish.
I have them another call, and the guy said that it was my fault that I have ordered pizza with anchovies, because according to him the word Alcachofra somehow means anchovies. He even suggested me to Google it so I could see my mistake. Google immediately showed that the word alcachofra obviously means artichoke.
At the end they sent me the pizza I have ordered after 2 hours since my first order, and asked me to give them back the mushroom pizza with anchovies (no clue why).
What especially bothers me about bad service in Portugal is that when they make such ridiculous mistakes in very basic tasks like making pizza on time with two ingredients, there is never proper verbal apology, nothing to say about refunds, complimentary dishes...

They also have some great cocktails and sangria, our regular order was the pineapple pearl, very tropical. The staff have spoken English well and have been very helpful and...
Read moreAbsolutely phenomenal food. I had a chef recommended steak. I was astonished for its presentation. I was given a board with heated stone and a nice lean piece of stake, with side of sea salt, two types of delicious housemade sauces, house made french fries, and a bit oversalted but very nice creamy spinach. Loved every single moment of that experience. I had 2 cocktails the spiced margueritta and pineapple pearl - totally worth the money. And for dessert I had a pana cotta. The place itself is very popular, so very busy. Expect a full house. Nonetheless, totally worth the experience. It might be a bit spicier compared to other location, but the value for...
