I walked into this place on a Friday night and asked if they had a table for one but unfortunately they did not. So I decided to take the food back to my hotel. Is it as good as some of the food I’ve had in England and America? Well it’s pretty good though I have to say that the lentil Dahl was much more watery than I’m used to. overall though I would say the food is very good and if you’re craving some Indian food while you’re in Ericeira then go ahead and check it out. I didn’t rate the service or the atmosphere because I didn’t get to dine in. I’ll also say that I find it a bit on the pricey side for Portugal. Read moreThe flavours are authentic I had a lamb madras rice and black dahl take away. I avoided their naan because I've tried before and they are not good ,(i guess they dont have a tandoor oven). The lamb dish had only a few small cubes of lamb ...very disappointing, its not a cheap dish. The dahl was overly sloppy and oily, (it should be soft porridge consistency not soupy) but it tasted ok also not a cheap dish The rice was perfect. The flavours were good ..BUT I paid 25 euros for rice lentils and sauce with a few small cubes of lamb...extremely poor value. The Curry itself was okay, but also lacked anything that made it taste fresh.
Service was probably the best part.
Overall definitely not worth the price when compared to Indian restaurants in other places like Lisbon or Lagos (both of which have great restaurants).
They also only accept...
