RESTAURANTE Lucky Star — Restaurant in Mafra

Nothing "lucky" about this place. First out: They only have their 18€ all-you-can-eat, drinks excluded. I hoped for a small dinner, but they don't serve any single portions. The male waiter was rather pushy, would not give us space and we felt constantly observed. He tried to make us order certain sushi plates even though we told him we were more interested in the chinese food.

The female waitress was nice and smiled a lot, but she brought out the wrong dishes. We as well as a take-out customer received the wrong dishes and we could see how all of that was later served to other guests, even the food that the other guest had already taken home and brought back.

One of the chefs openly yelled at one server in front of all guests.

The actual food we got was ok, nothing special.

I recommend this place only if you are so hungry that you can make the most of your 18€ and you don't care much about food quality, food safety...

We went to Lucky Star for lunch for the first time with high hopes for a nice sushi experience, considering the prices. When we saw the menu, it looked like a very promising taste bud party. As the waitress brought the sushi, excitement turned into disappointment very quickly. The rice overwhelmed all other ingredients, turning the dish into a very starchy affair without any flavor. And don’t get me started on the fish, which failed to meet the freshness standard. Each dish felt like a letdown. It’s 5 PM and my stomach is still unwell. That wasn’t my lucky...

Really cozy and comfortable place, super recommended, staff is super nice and available to any requests, prices are really competitive and food is fresh and tasty. Huge choices and a lot of uramakis not like others all you can eat that has just a couple. Look forward for an open a new...
