Visited around 21:45 for a late dinner after a long day, wanted to try the famous Porto Francesinha and see hat other place then in Porto itself, the gentleman service, older man was extremely polite, professional well mannered and made me feel super comfortable to choose and dine in, so as with all other customers, his service was excellent from the beginning to the end when I left, I’m sadly the younger tall male had no interest being there, walking around carelessly, no making eye contact to customers, unfazed with his language and his body language demonstrated that, the food was absolutely delicious, the fries fresh and home made, had a gorgeous meal, and left extremely satisfied with the overall experience and would recommend and or visit when back at Porto again as it’s a few steps walking distance to the airport only, also their price is very competitive rather airport pricing for a cold corporate sandwich! We got out, wished the others well and decided never to go back to this cafe when we stay near the airport to leave. Like I said, food was good - but they will not let you leave without having everything they could possibly...

Absolutely nothing fancy about this place except an outstanding waiter, one of the best Portuguese Sangria hand mixed to our specs - (not to sweet).
I had the Veal stew which was breaded flash fried veal cutlet served with a perfectly seasoned Spanish rice which paired perfectly. My husband had steak and fries with egg, which he ate the entire plate.
Upon seating, we were given 3 Samoas - whichy husband and I were surprised at the quality to the point we shared until we fought for the last bite.
To end the meal, came a complimentary offering of homemade Lemoncello - and cream which as good and strong. If you are looking for a quick bite at the local greasy spoon - come to O Banquinho, and blend in with the locals and...
