Learn moreThis in an excellent vegetarian option in matosinhos, all the food is freshly prepared , with high quality ingredients very delicious!! There is a lovely terrace to sit , with a kiwi 🥝 plant as roof , a small koi pond , super beautiful !! The ladies who serve in the restaurant are very friendly and the service is excellent. We come often to eat at this restaurant and they always have innovative recipes , with tofu , grains , and all sort of vegetables . There is soup of the day every day ! Very tasty !! This is one of a kind in Porto , very similar to food for thought in London Covent garden , a little restaurant that I loved but was closed few years ago .
They have hot tea and cold tea to drink while you eat , also natural sodas , kombucha , some beer .
I believe on Fridays they make some special traditional vegetarian dishes , and it’s a little busier .
We love this restaurant and really recommend to try as the food is carefully prepared as in the past of other Porto vegetarian restaurants that have become chain and lowered the quality of their dishes …
This is an all you can eat...
Read moreNot being vegetarian and hating vegetables, I was reluctant to go. But being a buffet style offer it is easy to try a bit of everything. I had pasta with mushrooms, chickpea salad and seitan. I can't say it was wonderful as it is not my type of food but it was tasty enough for a carnivore to not need a steak or burguer! The architecture and design are very nice with most things made of wood with a modern feel. The staff is very nice and always willing to help. The prices are reasonable especially for foreign people that are used to pay a lot more for this type of offer. Would recommend for vegetarian people and people willing to...

The food was very good! The highlights for me were the chips and guacamole… I couldn’t figure out why besides just being fresh but that it was delicious… just not enough of it. The red beans and rice, was likely the best I’ve ever had! I can’t imagine not putting a big old ham bone on the bean broth and simmer for hours and still have it be vegan! Well they did it somehow! This I would come and eat by the buckets! For dessert, chocolate brownie fudge cake with vanilla bean ice cream was evoking comments, “how in the heck did that make this vegan? It’s so rich and creamy!”
The owner is very sweet and passionate. Want something healthy and a bit different? This is a great place to try.
