I ordered pancakes for breakfast, and what they brought me was raw batter with a stale taste and the texture of an old, dry cake. On top of that, the fruit that came with it was already spoiled — definitely not fresh. After tasting them, I immediately noticed how bad they were, so I mentioned it to the waitress. They replaced the dish with completely new pancakes, which were exactly what I expected in the first place. This raises a big concern: were they expecting me to eat the first plate without saying anything? How many other customers are served old or leftover food just because they don’t complain? What a delightful surprise! After the São João festival (not directly after – we did manage some sleep 😅), we were just in the mood for a coffee and a light snack. Stepping inside, I was instantly charmed by the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful details everywhere. And then the coffee menu – this place offers much more than just your standard coffee.

I had a craving for prego no pão, but it wasn’t on the menu. Instead, I went for a simple yet delicious bread with cheese. My friend chose a tosta mista, and wow, it was fantastic! Crispy, fluffy, and perfectly bronzed. At that moment, I knew I’d be back soon to try it myself.

It's been a few months since we've returned from Porto, and we still miss the atmosphere of the place.
