My family and I ate here recently for an evening meal. We saw that it had decent reviews. The ambience and appointments in the restaurant we're pleasant but not elaborate. The music was a bit grating. The songs were attempts to reflect an Italian mood. They were very dated and very loud. It really detracted from the atmosphere. My server was quite efficient. She didn't hover. She was responsive to our requests. My wife had the cheese ravioli, My son had the carbonara, and I had the lasagna bolognese. All three dishes were very very good and very enjoyable. The reason for the four instead of a five had to do with the salad and with the bread. The bread clearly was stale and had been microwaved....it had seen better days. In a country known for bread and serving food from a country also known for bread they should have done much much better. The salad was almost all lettuce and probably had seen better days just like the bread. It was really too bad because it detracted from what was a very enjoyable main course. Living in Nazare' now, I will likely try this place again and hopefully the salad and the bread are just a hiccup and it will be...
Read more0 out of 5 stars – Absolutely dreadful place. This is hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. It seems the management has changed recently, and it shows in the absolute disaster they call a restaurant.
We were left waiting nearly an hour just to receive food that was both overpriced and inedible. The prices are shockingly high compared to older reviews, and yet the quality is beyond terrible.
The spaghetti was a sticky, disgusting mess that clung to the mouth in the worst way possible. The pizza was laughably tiny, with the cheapest, lowest-quality ingredients imaginable. The calzone? Utterly revolting, a soggy, tasteless lump that shouldn’t even be called food.
This place is a complete scam — outrageous prices, endless waiting times, and food so bad it makes you wonder how they’re still open. Honestly, I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog. Save your money, save your time, and go literally anywhere...
Read moreBom Dia: My first bad review I believe, but I have to do it. Traveling with my bicycle 🚴 through entire Portugal 🇵🇹 The professional concierge of my hotel in Nazare recommended this Italian restaurant. I’m in the service industry for more than 40 years in New York, LA & Berlin. Trained Butler as well. I asked for a nice table…just for myself. Out of the 6 tables 5 were not occupied. When I asked to be seated on a table of 4, the waitress got a „nervous breakdown“. How I dare to ask for a bigger table. I mean Seriously? The restaurant didn’t get the Memo :( Wow, my first bad experience in Portugal so far. When I mentioned the 75% empty tables, the waitress gave me an attitude. „We choose our guests…not vice versa“. How embarrassing. Guess they never learned the basics of customer first. This is NOT the fancy restaurant Nobu in Manhattan or Malibu, CA. after...
