Stayed on night here on October . Pros: -Location was very good. -Staff were very friendly, and pre-stay communication was excellent. -Breakfast was good. Simple buffet which seemed standard at such hotels. Room was simple, good size and clean. A/C worked well. Cons: - Parking both for check in and for overnight was tricky. First, double park in tiny space outside hotel lobby to check in, and then get accompanied by a staff member to drive through a very narrow alley and then up a narrow street two blocks away for parking in a basement garage with the steepest ramp ever I've encountered to park. Then walk back. Twin beds pushed together were not very comfortable. Pillows very flat. -Our room was in what I understood to be a newer "annex" a couple doors down from the main hotel building, so walk to main hotel for breakfast. (To the right of the Tattoo shop sign in the attached street view photo.) Hair dryer on wall in bathroom was broken. (On check out we were told there was a working hair dryer in a drawer below the sink. Didn't think to look for more hair dryers. No coffee maker, only hot water maker (for instant coffee or tea packets) with a plug cord which did not reach the wall plug below the counter. Had to move water heater to the floor to use. (Only one non decaf instant packet and nothing for creamer!) Shower stall had no shelf or seat for shampoo or soap resting. Never encountered that before in a hotel.
Could have gone four stars on the rating if the room issues didn't irritate us so much. The parking is likely not a lot better at other hotels in this very cramped beach town. A Nespresso machine in the room would have been huge, as would a working hair dryer, shelf in the shower and pillow selection for the beds. Perhaps a main building room would have...

During our stay, about $1,000 worth of electronics were stolen from our (another couple traveling with us) two rooms. When we reported it to the manager, David, we expected at least some concern or accountability. Instead, we were met with numerous excuses, blaming us for items stolen, not listening to our situation, and absolutely no apology or sense of responsibility for what had happened.
It’s deeply unsettling to have personal belongings taken from what should be a secure hotel room, and even more frustrating when management shows no professionalism or empathy in handling the situation. While the property itself may appear nice, the lack of security and integrity from the staff completely overshadowed everything else. To have luggage and personal belongings rummaged through in our rooms where key cards were used to enter, is extremely disturbing. All our electronics were taken save two iPads (I assume because these can be tracked) and items (medical kit, cords, etc.) that were in luggage in one room were found inside the luggage of another room.
I would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to be very careful with valuables and to reconsider staying here until the management demonstrates better accountability and guest care. Hotel magic where your items magically disappear...
